“For every child that we allow to drop out of school, we are effectively dooming that child to a life of potential poverty. As a product of the public school system, I well understand the importance of providing every child a high quality education, and feel responsible to help children reach their full potential. As a Broad Resident, I have the unique opportunity to effect change in urban education at a high level, and in so doing help give each child the opportunity to achieve.”

Chris Wright currently serves as a project manager for Denver Public Schools. In this role, he is responsible for managing complex strategic initiatives that involve multiple departments across the district. Prior to joining The Broad Residency, Wright was a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton where he provided strategic analysis and managed the process for the acquisition and support of communications, command and control equipment for Department of Defense programs. Previously, he served as a Navy officer, acting as a deputy program manager for an aircraft maintenance program within the Naval Air Systems Command. Wright also flew as a Mission Commander during Operation Enduring Freedom where he was responsible for the navigation, weapons systems and mission completion of carrier based aircraft. Additionally, he served as the executive officer of a Navy Reserve unit supporting maritime operations worldwide. Wright holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the United Stated Naval Academy and a master’s degree in business administration from San Diego State University.
